Carnevale
di Venezia (The Carnival of Venice):
One of the most extraordinary events is
the
Carnival of Venice,
which attracts hundreds of thousands visitors
from all over the world. For about 10 days
in the streets of the city you can see incredible
colours and masks. On those days Venice
is the quintessence of entertainment and
music.

Galleria dell'Arte Moderna e
il Museo Orientale (Modern Art
Gallery and Oriental Museum);
The Art Gallery and the Museum are located
inside Cà Pesaro Palace, a sumptuous
building built by Longhena in 1652 but finished
by Antonio Gaspari.

Museo Civico Correr
(Correr City Museum);
The seat of the museum is the Napoleonic
side of St Marco Square.

Galleria Giorgio Fianchetti
(Giorgio Fianchetti Gallery);
The Gallery is located inside Cà
d’Oro Palace, the most well-known
building on the Grand Canal, considered
as one of the most popular buildings in
Italy thanks to its marble battlement.
