at 127 mt above the sea level. It is partly
surrounded by XVI-century walls; the Sanctuary
of Madonna di Loreto, one of the most well-known
Christian sanctuaries and a great attraction
for tourists and religious people from all
over the world, rises above the city.

Wonderful bay surrounded by a luxuriant
vegetation where you can aklso find rare
underwater plants.

Grotte di Frasassi;
The Frasassi Caves extend for about 18 Km
in the Parco Regionale della Gola della
Rossa e di Frasassi (Regional Park of Rossa
Gorge and of Frasassi). The caves were discovered
in 1971 and they were inaugurated three
years later. Since then ten million people
have visited them.. In about a-hour-route
tourists can visit the caves and see lakes,
stalattite, stalagmite and areas formed
by alabasters.
